Av continues walking when stopped

I have found such help here...thank god for the forum. I have another little problem. I was having serious issues using 1.20.2 and it was suggested here that I go back to 1.19.1.4 which I have. What I notice now though is when I stop walking (ie using the up arrow cursor) my av is continuing to walk and I keep having to 'stop all animations'. This is a bit of a worry given I do runway work in SL. I am using a Zhao 11 MB 1.0.14 hud holding 4 walks and about 7 poses. I usually remove this when on runway and use a Huddles Quick Pose and attach a runway walk removing the Zhao hud completely. This problem since downloading 1.19.1.4 is occurring when I wear the Zhao hud. This never happened when using 1.20.2. Any suggestions??

I have both huddles and Zhao. I normally keep my Zhao on for simplicity sake though. I have no issues in either version with continuing to walk.

Have you tried other walks? Silly suggestion maybe, but is your arrow key sticking for a sec or two?

It's a lag issue. This happens to me in busier areas sometimes or when my connection gets a bit wacky......one of the first things that can happen is the animations continues even when you have stopped the forward command. Someone on an earlier post explained exactly the cause of this.....but basically it's lag.

Thank you both. It's strange that even in bad lag with the other version, this never happened and the minute I download the later one, it's happening all the time. I just purchased a new keyboard so it isn't a sticky key I don't think. I took the walks out of the Zhao and am wearing the model walk to simplify things, but that hasn't worked in terms of continuing to walk. Plus, now my walks are alternating between the model walk I'm wearing and the walks from the Zhao hud which have now been removed.
