What does it mean when you try to put on an item and it says "Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database". I tried to clear my cache and it never worked, what can i do to get that item back I dont want to have to pay for it again, and i bought it awhile ago so they wont even have a record of it. Can anyone tell me some options i could use.

I think it means Asset Server problems! Have you tried going back through your Recent Items? You can sometimes get things back that way.

Means you are trying to rez objects at a peak time.

I'm guessing a better than even chance of people having trouble logging in within the next 2 hours.

Yikes - I misread your post !

Thats what I get for watching Survivor that I taped.

It means the item got cleaned by the housecleaning program or misplaced.

Sometimes they come back though. I had an outfit that did the same thing.

Yes, I bet it was an older item. Have you also not used it in a while?

This was a symptom of inventory loss that was very common several months ago. The work the Lindens did to try to stem the tide of losses seems to have plugged this particular hole, so it isn't happening much anymore. However, items that were lost from this period remain lost.

I'm afraid there isn't much you can do other than repeatedly clearing cache. Somethings things reappear mysteriously after months, not clear whether the Lindens are continuing to recover items (they had a couple of rounds of item regurgitation), or whether some other process mysteriously uncovers items that were always there but hidden.

Several scripted attachments I made a while ago have scripts that can no longer be opened and give a 'missing' error. The funny thing is that the devices still work. I have yet to notice a missing clothing or item problem but I may just be forgetful.
