All of the pics, textures, landmarks and notecards (and maybe other items ...not sure) from the last week or so have gone missing from my inventory...I had heard about inventory loss but have never experienced it before. I have logged in repeatedly and cleared my cache. Has this ever happened to you? Can anybody suggest any other method to attempt to recover these lost items?...or will they just appear again in a day or two? ...fingers crossed...and thanks for any suggestions.

I experienced many problems earlier with LMs and Notecards (weren't opening up), didn't check textures and phtos. I crashed once, then forced quit later. I rarely have problems in SL, so I'm thinking today is just not a very good day... I'll go with checking back later and keeping your fingers crossed.

This isn't another method, but it has helped me more than once: After clearing your cache, log in to a low-lag sim, such as Cyclops.* Open your inventory and search on any term. Avoid doing anything in SL (IMing, changing clothes, TPing, etc.) while your inventory load, which may take several minutes. If the loading stops for a few moments, change your search term. If that doesn't restore your inventory, repeat. *Enable this in Preferences Menu General Tab by a check in "Show Start Location on Login Screen", then enter the sim name in the Start Location Box on the login screen, then log in. |

Are you using Windlight?
When I use Windlight I am missing about 11,000 items from inventory - Landmarks, Note cards, textures, recent purchases. But everything is fine in the regular SL viewer.
