You'll also want to ask your bank what it will cost you to receive $X from a foreign bank (even if you're in the US LL might not wire the money from a US bank), in addition to currency conversion fees that will apply if the account isn't denominated in US$.

Give an idea of how much you need to cash out, Peaches (L$ or US$ equivalent), Your destination country, and what currency you want it in, we can probably find you a better deal. Linden Lab will deduct a $100 processing fee for a bank wire over $10,000, in addition to any fees charged by your financial institution. That fee ONLY applies if you are cashing out an amount OVER 10,000 USD. LL is guilty of enough monumental screwups as it is. No need to start creating more. |
