does showcase ever change

has anyone else applied to be in the showcase in search.
im just wondering how many have tried and failed, i always thought showcase was something that everyone had a chance to get into, but i tried and like so many failed
something about we change them every so often, but as i keep looking all i see are the ELITE few that seem to remain in showcase for months and months on end,
are these guys paying to stay in there or what.

i own a mall a nice mall that i put lots of work into but when i see places like LE LOOK and some others staying in show case for months i begin to feel things really arnt that fair in sl anymore

im wondering when the lindens will consider sorting this out to give us all a chance to showcase our work or dont us small guys count anymore

slowly becoming fed up
