I submitted a ticket yesterday, roughly noon SLT, and it is still sitting in NEW status. I have never had a ticket take more than a few hours to get assigned and change to Work In Progress. My understanding was that it was a whole separate group that were working the Zindra tickets. And I also was under the impression that Support ran 24x7 to handle all of the other timezones.
So, did they take time off for the US holiday or take time off just cuz they are feeling swamped or ???????

LittleMe, read all the other posts about Zindra.
Tickets for a swap to Zindra will last ... be patient, the Lindens tell us.
Mine was filed at 10.22 am on the very first day (June 29th) ... and still new.
My guess is that they did not reach 10.10 yet.
So be patient, it might take a few weeks.
Plus: when they say that a new department works on that tickets, that does not mean that those Lindens are quicker with serving a ticket and do the changes than the team that does the service normally.
Finally: they decided to add more sims to the Zindra continent, so that will take a few days. Tickets are on hold till then.

Same here Lil, I've been waiting two days already on one  My feeling is, they run a skeleton staff over major holidays, bet they don't do anything with tickets that isn't major...Have a good holiday  ETA: btw, mine has been 'WIP' since yesterday

I have 3 tickets in; 2 to sell sims and 1 to buy..nothing to do with Zindra at all and the oldest one has been New since June 30th.
I was surprised too but the July 4th weekend is big in the states; I think because there are no dramatic MOWs about it...its just a good time to get together with friends and family.
Here's hoping they come back to work refreshed and things move again.
