Venting time.... Yet again this morning, logins are failing, and you CAN login, you can't TP. And no word, after nearly an hour of this, of this problem on the blog or grid status page. Sigh.
The new havok code and all that is really cool, but when the basics don't work, it's all pointless. I've also notice that with the new server / viewer release, my performance is about half what it used to be. If the trend keeps up, I'll no longer to be able to be in SL, not from desire, but from technical ability.

have you tried TPing to different destinations. When I can't TP to a particular area I find if I TP somewhere else, I can actually TP from there to where I want to go, sometimes I have TPd to the next SIM (on mainland) and just walked into the SIM I want.

in order to login to a different location, you must go into PREFERENCES, GENERAL tab, then select SHOW START LOCATION ON LOGIN SCREEN.
This allows you to type in the region and coordinates you wish to login at.
For example:
Typing "Humboldt/128/128/64" would log you in the center of my mall.
