How often you change your clothes per day

This poll has been produced on request.... it is a tough one, the premise is that residents change their clothes less frequently as they get older - if you think this is wrong - say so !

So, which of the above options (in the poll section above) most closely resembles you, and how often do you change your clothes per day?

It was a long discussion. Was a poll really necessary?

"I have not changed my dressing habits since starting in SL."

This "I" person must change clothing a lot. The day is what, 3 or 4 hours long in SL? So, day clothes, night clothes, special event clothes (I hope people change clothes when they go on a date). If this "I" in the quote stays inside SL for 6 to 8 hours, then this "I" will change clothes at least four times over that 6 to 8 hours. Even if sleep in the nude, that is changing out of day clothes.

I am, of course, assuming that this option means that the person has not changed their real life dressing habits since starting in SL for SL.

Didn't mean to get on your case, Snowman, just very frustrated about the forums these days.

Wow, is it fish tossing now instead of pie? ;)

I wish we could just insert a poll into an already running thread....

Uh....I'd run, and fast. I don't particularly like pie, but I *hate* fish! ;)

Thanks for the fish. Everyone has an off day I guess, so no worries.

I think I will follow Jig's lead and back out of posting in the Forums and wait until things settle down. Maybe see you in a few weeks. :(

Aww... Don't go, Snowman! I'd miss you splashing around in all the threads! If people thought your thread was redundant, all they had to to is not post, LOL Your poll would have quickly left 1st page, and you would have gotten the point. After all, dolphins are smart! I'm certain many didn't answer 'cause they already had. Some pointed it out 'cause they probably didn't want you to be insulted if no one answered. See? Everyone had your best interest at heart.

Seriously, all forums need at least ONE dolphin so you've got to stay :)

Hey! No! Wave someone else in front of him. I want him to stay too, but not if we have to feed me to him! Let him eat someone else named after food. Mackerel Recreant or Albacore Recreant.

(actually, those would be great names for alts for me if I were on the market for an alt)

To answer the question, I change whenever the mood strikes me, or when I see the same person I saw the day before - for some reason I don't want them to think I only have one outfit or I'm wearing dirty clothes. How stupid is that? God, I'm a mess.

Oryx wants to be a seal, but she's never even talked to a dolphin? Do your research for God's sake!

I think CrabstuffedSalmon Recreant would be a really cool name for your alt, were you in the market for an alt, Trout.
I used to change my clothes several times in about 2 hours of time on SL. Now that I am making clothes, or whatever, I find myself wearing the same outfit, sometimes, for 2 or 3 days in a row. But every once in a while I go back to changing a LOT. I have soooo many clothes in my inventory that aren't transferrable, so can't sell them or give them away. Therefore, I have to wear them so they don't go to waste, right? Right!

Tosses a full bucket of fish to Snowman.

Really hate to see you go. If you wait til things settle down, you might wait awhile. Things here go in waves and this is actually a very calm period compared to much of the last 6 months. We all still have lots of fun anyway.

/me swishes

Didn't take long for me to come back. :)

Even though most people have told me they want me to do polls, I don't think I will be in a hurry to post another poll thread, even if someone asks me to. I understand that people are trying to cut down on general discussion, and it will save me time.

Hope everyone that encouraged me likes their water presents and thanks for the bow tie that someone sent me!
