Greeting an Avataar

Hi,
How do i greet (give a message on 0th channel,welcome AV name..to xyz island..),when an AV enters the island..
Kindly let me know the script which is to be written...

there is a scripting forum where this question should be asked, it is as active as this forum so you will get a reply and very possibly the script too, second to this there is a script library, if you do a adequate search your question will be answered.

I would not advise doing with scripts.

Make a gesture This way the text is always white. If you use a hosting hud or something like that the text will be green then people just think you may be a bot.

To make a gesture open your inventory
Click on Create at the top of your inventory window
then chose New gesture
You Can toy around with it from there and get the hang of it

I think vinod wants a scripted thingy to greet visitors when he/she is not online, so a gesture wouldn't be any good.

vinod - this is a fairly simple, commonly available script - try searching for "sensor" on the lsl wiki, or repost your request in the scripting forum as Dekka suggests.
