I can not drag the colour I made into the same box, it drags the whole window instead 
Has anyone found a way of saving the custom colours, or do I have to wait until LL fixes this bug sometime in the future?

Since SL main viewer was updated to windlight I am unable to save custom colours in my Colour Picker
I can not drag the colour I made into the same box, it drags the whole window instead Has anyone found a way of saving the custom colours, or do I have to wait until LL fixes this bug sometime in the future? _____________________

Don't think there's a workaround. But fixed in the 1.20 Release Candidates, along with a bunch of other annoyances in the current standard release. Not that there aren't problems with the RCs, too, but having both versions installed is good if one needs variety in one's diet of bugs.

The only "workaround" is to have a prim palette you can wear on your hud.
Link 10 or so prims, set 'em to blank, and use that to store the colors. As noted, it's fixed in the current RC. |

There is a fix for this that doesn't require you to use the Release Candidate viewer.
A patch was developed and posted to the JIRA issue that addresses this bug, by Teardrops Fall. Go HERE: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5366 and download the Teardrops Fall.zip file and install it per the directions. _____________________
