pictures just drag and drop them in the notecard
instead of an slurl why not use a landmark, that way they can then save it if they want to. (I think the pic needs to be full perm but I could be wrong, SL keeps changing things on us LOL) as for a clickable slurl, not sure as I never much use them (except in forum posts and/or slex and on rez listings _____________________

Drag and drop from inventory into the notecard. Make sure the images are full perms though.

You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

The image needs to be full perm. And you can add any full perm objects you'd like to the notecard as well.
One of my wishes that I make every time I blow on an eyelash is that they'll change the permission requirements to just copy/trans. That way I can put more things into notecards and clean up my inventory a bit more. |

And SLURL starts with "http://..." but a landmark is an inventory object that has a cute pink/red pushpin in front of it. You can drag/drop the pushpin one. The SLURL goes into a web browser. |

You can drag and drop a landmark as well. Landmarks are what you accumulate in inventory, while SLURLs are generally for teleporting from the web.

To get a slurl you need to go into your map, click on the spot, and then choose copy slurl location to clipboard. Then you just go into your notecard and hit ctrl-v to paste the slurl. I don't recall if they become clickable once they are in the notecard.

... I don't recall if they become clickable once they are in the notecard. They are. I really wish we could "Create Landmark Here" from the map, and "Copy Landmark to Inventory" from the Search. It would make things so much easier when trying to grab a location and pass it on to someone else. Right now, it's a cumbersome process... 1. Open Search, find place to go. 2. Click "Show on Map". 3. Click "Copy SLURL to Clipboard" 4. Paste SLURL into IM, chat, or notecard. _____________________
