I have people in my fl whose profile I can pull up, yet when I do a search for them using the search tool they don't show up...what does that mean, did they delete their account, cancel, etc? And it's not just me, I've had several friends search for them too and no luck. It's not possible to hide your name from search is it?

There is a check box on the first page of the profile. "Show in Search" I think it is checked by default. Mine is unchecked. Run a search for me and see if I show up.

I think Search will always turn up a name, if the account is still active...

Every time I've seen somebody poof from search, it's been because their acount went deactive, usually because they didn't renew premium.

The new search is not yet fully indexed. It fails to find a LOT of people who can readily be found via the people tab in search.
