Can I report abuse from here or is it only done in world. This morning at Darvos I am getting a under recording under the nature sounds of " The Power of the dark side " over and over. I looked about here but have had trouble finding a reporting link from the home site. Darvos is so slow I hate to go in world to report from there but will if I have to ;).
Thank you for your time

Sadly, reporting can only be done in world. Probably due to the easy abuse of the system, I suppose. If it's behaving that slowly, go to support and report it that way, maybe? Explain what you can of it and tell them that you will file an AR as soon as you are able to get to the sim.

You could go to a nearby region and file the report there. There is a Location: text field that defaults to the name of the region you're standing in, but you are allowed to type whatever you want, there. Sometimes those AR's result in a clean-up. Other times they do not. Don't expect a verbal response or and in-person response... if they clean up the offensive object for you, it will just silently disappear in the middle of the night. ;)

Hmm, there's nothing really helpful there, but thanks for pasting.

and you have to know who it is to file a abuse report in world, thus it is getting easy to see why so many get away with such trash, like how are we to know in cases as this?
Since I don't know needless to say it goes unreported.
But truly thank you for your time, now I know ;(

You don't actually have to know who the offender is. Obviously it helps LL if you can tell them that, but if you can't tell, just select Governor Linden or Philip Linden in the offender field, and then explain in the comments. Be sure to give them all the necessary info to find the item, such as the exact coordinates where you hear/see it (or its effects).

And you can also ask for help here... many of us have quite a talent for locating hidden source objects for sound and particle attacks. Personally I find it great fun, kind of like an easter egg hunt. :)
