After the update, on one account i can log in np. On the other, i get the loading screen, then nothing. the TOS question never pops up and eventually it times out.
I've cleared cache and cookies and reinstalled multiple times, to no avail.

Don't just clear the cache, but actually go the folder the cache is stored in and delete everything in it. This does not even get deleted on a new install. This can sometimes repair log-in problems.

You need to clear the BROWSER cache from within SL preferences too!

Is the download installed in the "downloads link" on the left hand toolbar in secondlife.com. Sometimes that works also when you cant download direct from the sl screen. Havent look there so dont know for sure.
