Hi there, I set up a new group but it did not show in search. Thought I had done something wrong so I set up a new group and double-checked that I had clicked the "show in search option". Still no success. The name is * Daydream Island Group * in case you want to check. The group is open to all. Is there something I am doing wrong? Any idea how I can fix this? Also, once i get it showing in search, how can i get people to join easily, eg as they enter the sim? Is there a url or something I need to refer them to? Many thanks, Carmsie  |

Many thanks, Carmsie I think it takes like 48 hours to show in Search? Also needs more than just you as member, at least 2 members or it will close.

Is there a reason people need to join the group? Spamming people with group join requests when they land is usually not appreciated. It is more polite to put up some easily visible 'click to join this group' signs. Most people do NOT want to join your group, unless they need build rights, or will be renting there, or something.

HATE IT last night I think I joind one of those hippo group joiners when I tped into a sim, which I thought was horrible and I wont go back anyway........ So now, Im going to get spammed by this thing that I have no idea how to get out of.... I HATE IT... just my opinion on that. |

last night I think I joind one of those hippo group joiners when I tped into a sim, which I thought was horrible and I wont go back anyway........ So now, Im going to get spammed by this thing that I have no idea how to get out of....
I HATE IT...
just my opinion on that. Go to this website: http://www.hippo-tech-sl.com/myhippogroups/ and create an id/pswd and after logging in, you can see which hippo groups you belong to and can remove yourself right there.
