Do you know nice places where to take photos? I am looking also for places with poseball where, for example, an avatar is sitting next to a column, is looking at a sunset and similar poses, all nice for photos.

Thank you very much!

Most parks will have some good photo places, but the poses are typically for a couple. Off the top of my head, I like Rose Garden for flowery backgrounds. Neko Gardens has some cool settings but might not be what you are after.

Annabelle (forgive for mispelling your name) makes some nice urban builds but I have not seen her in the forums lately. If she's lurking, I hope she jumps in because I am sure she would know the perfect spots.

Unique Needs (I hope I spelled the name correct) has a free photo garden to use. I haven't been there for a while, but I remember that it had many photospheres and also backgrounds that you can change yourself.

Very good for your own profile pic.

Theres an incredibly beautiful sim that I think is based on Cuba?
They have individual photo pose balls all over the sim for some great photos.

I can't remember the name but if you IM me inworld I'll look at my pictures and let you know. Even if you don't want pictures the sim is great!

There are a number of SL oriented flickr groups where you can get ideas for taking veru nice pictures, just a few groups of the many are:

Second Life - Beautiful Sims: http://www.flickr.com/groups/831378@N25/

SL Panorama: http://www.flickr.com/groups/528545@N24/

SL nature Scapes: http://www.flickr.com/groups/461083@N21/

Personally I like the Lost Garden of Apollo, a place with lots of columns (shameless flickr plug: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vagabondexplorer/ )

In terms of poses one thing you might want to look at is obtaining animations. Those you can run anywhere and (aside from glitches now and then) can be used to stand next to the column you want as opposed to the column where someone has shoved a poseball.

La Reve and Little Nepal are two that spring to mind.

We have got some nice compliments about our corner of SL and have created a Flickr group for people to submit them, so you can make up your own mind, rather than taking my word for it. :-)
