The last 3 times I've been in sl, it doesn't work for me when I right click on someone else's property, to gain information. For instance, how many prims and perms before I buy something. The information panel is all grey and blank. Any idea how this has happened, please? Thanks in advance.

If the by the last three times you mean in the last few days, it's just how SL is at the moment. If you've been able to right click to get info before, it will eventually come back - who knows when...

Thanks for the replies. I thought it was maybe something I did, lol. It's surprising how much I miss the feature, tho; see something nice and wonder where they got it.... hope it does come back sometime.

If you're talking about the Edit window, you always have to open it twice to see the info for someone else's items. At least, I do.

Uh. Uncheck "Tools : Select Only My Objects" (or something like that).

also check under tools (I think) to see if you have select only my objects checked
if it is then right clicking an object and choosing edit two times will show you that info (without closing the edit window)

Thanks to the last two posters. Although 'select only my objects' wasn't checked, I turned it on then off again and problem solved. Many thanks!
