I tried to upload sounds and whatever sound I find it says "not a supported sample rate (must be 44.1K)". Is there a way I can convert my sound into a supported rate?
Many thanks, Violet

There's free sound editing program called Audacity that can do that and a lot more.

Try Windows Sound Recorder
Look in Start Menu -> Program Files -> Accessories -> Entertainment In the Save as Dialog there is a button to change the format, under Format select PCM, and in the Attributes section select 44.100 kHz. 16bit. Stereo 172 kb/sec |

Note that there is also a limit on length of the sound clip (two seconds if I remember correctly)!
