Hi..

I've a japanese house in SL that I bought recently. Is there any script available in SL or add-on object that I can use as a security. I don't like people just come into the house unnotice.

Thanks.

Do you mean a security orb? You don't add it to your door but it sits in your house and pushes people out. Just search for a shop selling security orbs or try onrez or slex.

I had two people come into my skybox last night within 5 minutes of each other.

The first was invisible, contained in some big oval invisprim kind of thing. It would have been quite cool if they had remembered to turn off the name sign above their head. I asked if I could help them with something, to which they replied "No". They fiddled with my doors a bit, then flew off.

I'd just finished changing when the second guy arrived. He strolled in, pushed past me, sat down on my sofa and proceeded to have a good look round. I pointed out to him that the sofa worked better if you touched it first to show the poseballs, and then used them to sit, as the poses were much better. There was a long pause, then he vanished.

All in the space of 5 minutes. Such excitement!

Just wait until your intruder decides to rez a chair and make themselves comfortable. All while hitting on you in a very sexual manner. Can we say "Eject?" Yes, yes, we can. And did.

as for the house...i've set a default landing point since I own the parcel (unless people from the house tp them inside). I need to check with the landlord if they allow any security orb within the parcel. I've been to a a friend house (in SL..duh), he got this security on his door so noone other than the people whose name has been set in the list can open the door. I'm looking something like that. Right now my friends on a break from SL until end of this month :(

Ok, you can add security to your doors but that does not stop entry. All one has to do is use camera to pan inside and click on an item and just sit. That is how they gain entry to your home. Only way to alleviate that is a security orb. If you are renting check covenant, most sim owners allow it. If you own the lot and it's mainland, you can do ban lines but most surrounding neighbors loathe that. Again security orb would solve that problem both mainland and private estates.
