My avatar keeps running into a corner or edge of a room and then won't move! Can anyone help?

Thanks

Is this a recent development? Does this happen only in that specific room? Have you tried clearing cache, logging off and back?

Thanks - I did try logging off and back but didn't clear the cache. It has been happening for a while in some rooms but not others.

I haven't heard of this happening before, but until someone else comes and offers an alternate solution, I would suggest you clear your cache in edit prefs, then log off, then manually trash your cache folder before logging back on. Sorry, I don't know what else to suggest. :o

Anyone else?

Take off any AO's you are wearing too, all attachments & HUDS might be even better.

Goto your inventory and type the word "worn" in search. Start detaching everything you're wearing one piece at a time. Start with any gadget type attachments such as flight assists, movelocks, shields, weapons, etc. Hopefully you'll find an offending attachment that is disrupting your AV's movement.

If that doesn't help and the problem only occurs in a certain area within your region, it's probably a nearby in-world object that's intentionally or unintentionally disrupting you. Feel free to send me an IM in-world if you need assistance.

Clear cache, that should help.
