I saw a group that promotes a monthly lottery.

You join the group.

Every group member that puts the pick for the group's store in their info is eligible for the prize.

Is this gamblng?

I don't know if it is legal or not, but I know of a store that did that long before the new search, though I am guessing the practice may grow in popularity now. :D

It's just a new method of camping or classifies. Since the new search uses resident's profile picks as part of it.. the more picks you are in the higher in the search you'll be.

I guess technically, its not gambling on account that the person placing the pick in his info is not paying anything.

You know...all of this is just presenting us with really good ideas of ways to create new traffic for ourselves - I see it as a very good thing and I'm stealing this idea for my group :)

Edited for screwy fonts.

I wonder what a pick is worth?

I'm sure some math whiz will figure it out.
