Bad fonts

Ok before I start let me just say that this effects my second machine and not my primary. I have a Geforce in that. In the second I have an Mobile Intel 945GM.

The fonts in SL are really bad for me. Inventry names are hardly readable. Anyone got any idea's on how I can improve this ?

It maybe a resolution issue.. check to see if you have the UID set to 1.000 and the font sizes set to either large, medium or small and change that to see if it works. Also select the 'check hardware' function and restart SL. On a side note, SL doesn't support Itel graphic chips. You may have to select a native resolution for SL that matches your screen and run in full screen mode. I assume you are running in a window with the window at full size, resizing windows alters the pitch of the font?

I've always hated how the chat font displays the "I"'s too similer to the "L"'s. If you type in "AI", some people tend to think you said "AL". I think the "I" needs it look more distinguishing.

I am having the same issue .... fonts in inventory or any window is partially cut off ... Even in the start window for SL the labels 'First Name', 'Last Name', etc are bad ...

Same happened on my old laptop with an intel gpu. An updated driver sorted out the font issue, but didn't stop my face from appearing on my backside I'm afraid.
