Ok I was in sl and all the sudden poof I get logged out and a message from sl saying the inventory system isnt working and I have been logged out of sl as a result.. I try to log back in and I get the same message and a failure to log in. Log in failed Inventory system unavailable ...
But I can log in on my alt please tell me I am not about to lose my main as a result of some sl glitch does anyone have any advice to offer on this one?

The asset is a cluster type database and being that not everybody is located on one cluster we all are spread out. when I get that I know I can login one of my alts. so just give a bit of time and I am sure they will unplug the coffee plot and plug the cluster back in xD _____________________

If I have problems logging in, I often look at this page to see if there are any anomalies in the graph so I know it's not something on my end. It can sometimes be more telling then relying on a status page update http://etitsup.com/slstats/ _____________________

If your inventory server isn't available you don't really want to be logged in anyway since nothing will be able to make it into your inventory.
You'd be able to buy things and accept inventory offers only to log back on and notice that it's all gone (any changes to your attachments would be lost as well, etc). |

I couldn't log in at all and now I have a login in progress that is probably going to fail. I have to cook Thanksgiving food tonight and won't be in world much later. I hate when 24/7 stuff is not 24/7 when I need it.
PS it appears that my very slow login is taking. |

I made it in but then got booted again :/ Two of my accounts get the "unexpected error" message and two just freeze on logging in. The results are consistent with each account. _____________________
