Hey guys,
I'd really like to take any kind of mesh i have and just convert that to a sculpty shape. Preferable .obj 1st. I just want it to become the right vertices ect so i can skip trying to make the shape from scratch all the time. I've seen several sculpties in SL that were unlikely made from scratch. If i could just have a way of doing this, it would really make my day, well ok not just my day like my year at least lol. :D

The big deal is that the experts--especially some of the sculpty experts--will see your question sooner there than here.

As you probably know, purely mathematically, what you want is possible, although not necessarily one-sculpty-per-mesh, depending on the vertex count. Whether it's already been done or not... those experts may be able to say. (If it hasn't, they may also be able to hazard a more educated guess about whether a mesh conversion and partitioning tool could be completed before SL will support native mesh imports.)
