Someone broke up some land a ways down from mine into 16sqm's and there's this tall tower in full bright - must be 4x4x100 or something. It's insane. And right beside it one of those stupid empty 16sqm's with banlines around them. I think they must set the latter up just to make people in passing vehicles fall. Like that's going to make them BUY anything of theirs...
ho hum time to copy some more trees... and I was enjoying the tiered view of the sea.

Supposedly the recent Edict of the Lindens means that they will start legislating that sort of thing away---in new sims, anyway.
If it works well enough, and if they work the prices right, people will gradually move away from the land of 16m plots-and-ad-towers. And the ad tower people will wither away.

Good point: the zoning and the advertising are actually separate (if related) issues.

From: MarkByron Falta Abuse report the object as a lag inducing mega-prim. I've ARed for lag before when it was real. What they do is look at the lag meter at the moment they have the ticket open, and if they dont see it themselves, throw out the case. I'm certainly not going to report it frivolously. If they actually went by their own word in the terms regarding uglifying the land, it might be something. It's a very obvious eyesore amidst nicely constructed stores, galleries, and homes. The influx of weapons shops I dont know - I think they're in the sky somewhere. The so-called gambling place is and respectfully spares the water view. So what's left? That THING in full bright.

From: MarkByron Falta Abuse report the object as a lag inducing mega-prim. This has yet to work for me in Bay City. Mari (Who likes mega prims, but doesn't much like being blocked in by 'em)
