Hey Forumites

Does anyone know where I can pick up a nice single-seater bicycle? I've looked around and can only seem to find double seaters. One of those old fashioned heavy kind of bikes, like from the 50's...rideable of course. (schwinn classic?) No speed, foot brakes, you know what I mean...a dork bike.

I'd like to have one...that is whenever the asset servers are fixed and I can actually buy it...and then when the everything else is fixed so I can actually ride it...

Abranimations and Friends has a couple nice adult-sized bicycles for sale. And if you don't mind scaling it up a bit, there are some pretty good kid-sized bikes in a number of the SL kid related sims.

Yes I know of one that you may really like and it's free. It's actually a Blimp bicycle, but its fully mod so you can delete the blimp and just ride on the land, however, if you ever had the desire to fly with it you can too

I'll have to IM you in game to give the location, can't remember right now. It's non transfer so i can't just sent it to you, sorry.

Hey!! I think those are cool bikes! I have one of those classics in rl......black and red...white wall tires. Of course you can only ride on flat terrain....too heavy for steep hills.

Solanghe,

Acardia Asylum makes a wonderful freebie bike which you can rez and ride anywhere (it's worn as an attachment - make sure you detach your AO before setting off!)

She has a freebie shop in-world - look in her picks for the lm.

One time I saw some really cool bikes in dis one multi-level store, which included the best looking kid bikes I've ever seen. It wasn't a kid store, just a bike and other stuff store on the mainland. I wish I remembered where it was, though. As this is the "where's a good bike" thread -- sound familiar to anyone?

I've a free replica of the Sterling cycle that Annie Londonderry rode around the world in 1894 (an incredibly inspiring woman, by the by). Look for the safety cycle leaning up against the post at the front of the stables next to the New Toulouse telehub.
