Have bought some land, and put it out for rent. What is the best way to make sure the renter can do neccesary things, without losing control? And How will they be able to "set home" on it, I already made a group, made renters member, gave them some editing rights, but .... Any good advice on this, or maybe a to do list? Thanks

You will need to make a group for the land then grant the person rights to set home there and build, set music urls, script. I have had one renter when I had land and I will tell you don't allow them just to add whomever to their own group unless you want a lot of group messages from their friends at inconvenient times.

Thanks Is the land on the main grid; in an estate sim owned by you; or an estate sim owned by someone else? What have you done so far? Have you deeded or set the land to group?

Sorry, can I ask a quick question please. Do you have to have a premium account to RENT on the Mainland, I know you don't on private island SIMs. Thanks

(I'm just guessing this is Mainland. If not... dunno.) If you have more than one unit rented to different tenants, you might consider making a distinct group for each unit, so they can have powers over their own parcel without endangering each other. If you do that, you can give them roles with very complete powers--just don't include abilities to sell the land and other obvious stuff like that.
As FD says, the land has to be Deeded to group (not just Set to group) in order for them to be able to set Home to the parcel location. (This is dumb, but it's how it is.)
