Since upgrading to SL 1.8.5.7 this week (5th December) whats up with the quitting problem?
It takes at its fastest 3 mins to quit... 180 secs perhaps during which time the computer is so busy it is virtually paralysed. this is a macbook pro with intel duocore 2.3.
sometimes its 5 mins... most times ir its beyond 3 mins, i am now having to Force Quit it. the delay is intolerable..
I wasnt like this up until last week!!
I get this behaviour with applications on the PC in the office, eg Dreamweaver, but not on the mac until this new version.

I'm a Mac User and I have had to force quit twice in the past 24 hours and yes it does seem an age before it quits on its own. So confirmed it's just not you.

Most definitely not updating!!! Thanks, posted after first coffee, and I always type fast in here because of the guilt I have knowing I should be doing RL stuff instead. |

I haven't updated and I crashed twice and had few other problems which were due to lag and crashes. I think SL just boinked today.
