I swear I read a thread here with peoples suggestions of the best prefab creators in sl and I cannot find it anywhere. It was just a few days ago...does anyone know where I might find it or give me your own choices of desginers?

Prefabs of what? I never know what people mean by prefabs.

If you mean linked houses, Atom Burma has all sorts (and little shops too and even a cinema I snagged) for - it's either free or 1 Linden...Look in a little area of his main shop I think.

But tell me what you want other than prefab and I might remember more.

What size prefab? Residential or business building? What price range? What style?

Try 'Rags to Riches' in Calleta (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Calleta/211/222/32). Arcadia Asylum gives away a good deal of her stuff with full perms, pre-packaged in five 'Viral Vendors'. Much of it will seem old hat because entire sims have been generated overnight using the wide variety of items she made. Nevertheless, her stuff is still good and you can learn a lot about building and even develop your own ideas if you try modifying the pieces to suit your needs.

I like the Shop builds from Koshari Mahana and Barnesworth Anubis. My favourite residential home prefabs are from Julia Hathor (have quite a few of hers). There are few others i could add to that list.

Thanks for the responses! One of my favorite things to do in SL when I first joined was to go around and look at all the house, prefabs, castles etc. I have come across some great sims that way...Tin Teddy being one of them. It took me a week to completely explore that sim.

Every new season I like to find an awesome big house and turn it into my next store. Most of time I prefer Victorian style but I also like any different or unsual ones that strike my fancy. All of my old landmarks no longer go to the original places...I cannot even find The Houses that Jack built anymore. So I am looking for new good designers to go explore their buildings. I have just about everything from Fatima & Four Winds...but would like to check out other places.

I will look at all suggested above...thank you for them. I forgot how much fun it is to just go Tping around SL exploring.

Look at NotSoBad, sim of the same name.

An oldie but a goodie: Kongo Designs, in Fillip

Perhaps Castle Clan, in Tir Non Og?

Jack Belvedere's wonderful big builds are now available on XStreet. I don't suppose a lot of folks will buy them without being able to see them ... but for those of us who know them from when he still had his inworld store, it's good enough.

Okay. I will dig around in LM later. It's a good way to keep my LM fresh anyway. :)

(LM = landmarks, for those reading who might be noob.)

OMG I am SO happy to find this out. My heart sank when I arrived inworld to find him gone. Yay! Thank you! (His profile looked like got married an had a baby so didn't want to bug him with customer angst that his store was gone....) :p

I would've put myself forward Belle, but I think most of my stuff would be too small for you :(

Found some 0 Linden and 1 Linden prefabs in the Discount section of "The Loft."

They are pretty cool too and a nice variety.

Club Bali
The Firefly
Subway
Small Pink Store (48 prim)
The Majestic Theater

Not bad...some are a bit primmy but the small shop would fit on a 512 I think and be low prim.
