Hello.. I was wondering. I know how to use winamp to DJ to get the stream going and all... but I was wondering if there was a way to be able to talk using winamp to dj? Is there a plug in or something like that that I need? Thanks!!

As far as I know, you have to change the broadcast plugin properties inside winamp.. change the input from winamp to microphone to talk, then back to winamp to play more tunes.. least that's how I did it once long ago. It's very cumbersome that way and I dont know if there's an easier way, sorry. It's also been several years so it might have changed since then.

You have to pause the music and manually switch it though, so you can't talk over the music. That's still more than you can do with ShoutCast. Beware also, the Oddcast plugin is a little more complicated to configure.

Trish, I find Winamp to be unreliable. I will send you info on installing SAM Broadcaster and give you a lesson on it's use if you like. It is much more reliable for voice, sound FX and accessing your music.
