I would like to bring a photo out of SL, into my profile in this forum, or to use other places too, in RL venues. How? It's in my SL inventory photo album.

If you have full permissions, open the picture up (double-click on it in inventory) then click the main File menu. In there, there's an option to save the texture/picture to your local disk.

You will have to do some editing on it -- you are very limited as to the size of what can be used here.
(from the Avatar pic page) Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). _____________________
