Baldness? Bits missing? Isn't that what they call 'getting old'? :p

/me legs it ahead of a hail of Zimmer frames, trusses and support stockings.

I have seen this complaint quite a few times now, and every time I scratch my head because for me, the problem is almost the exact opposite - a lot of times I only see people's hair, shoes etc and the avatar is invisible. Looks quite weird, frankly.

Here they are! 1.20.17 is old but it should still work even if it says there is a new one! 1.22 is RC now but it works pretty good for me.

1.20.17 for Windows http://download-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/Second_Life_1-20-17-98669_Setup.exe
1.20.17 for Linux http://download-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/SecondLife_i686_1_20_17_98669.tar.bz2
1.20.17 for Mac http://download-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/SecondLife_1_20_17_98669.dmg

1.22 is on http://secondlife.com/support/downloads.php where it says test viewers.

Maybe they are cutting back on resources and serving avs without bits to some people and just the bits to other people - sort of sharing things around.

Sounds to me like the default setting for object quality is set wrong and at the lowest?
