How To Purchase Linden?

Hi,
I would like to know how to purchase linden dollar.

I tried to get it from secondlife.com, but it said can not charge my account.
however, I am going to pay by credit card, does anybody know where else I can get linden dollar in cheap rate?

or you can go to the buy lindens page and go threw the cycle there

when you hit the buy lindens button in world it only works if you have monies preloaded into your account

No, DON'T use the 'Increase Your Credit' link...it requires a 25USD deposit and, the way the system is set up, if it's your first purchase you won't be able to buy L$ at all for 48 hours after making said deposit. Either buy in-world or use the Linden Dollar Exchange link on the site.

You do have payment info on file, right? If you used a credit card, and just entered it, sometimes it takes a little while to be approved and updated.

Not true. I never keep a credit on my account and I can buy L$ just fine via the in-world function.

buying inworld I think you need to have payment info used, that way LL knows the credit card data is valid.

Also the first 2 days after you have first used your payment info you are limited to 10 usd worth of L$ (about 2630 L$) after that it is 100 usd untill the 7th day (90 usd if you already bought 10 usd worth) and untill the 27th day it's 300 usd, afterthat it is 2500 usd per 30 days.
These 30 days are on a roling basis so if you bought 2000 usd worth 31 days ago and 500 usd worth 30 days ago you can buy 2000 usd worth.

last few times i tried got an need to increase credit message so i just went and boughtthem manually threw web sight will try it again here pretty soon

Mjolnir, are you by chance using PayPal without a bank account attached? I'd understand if you needed to increase PayPal credit, but it makes no sense to have to increase your credit on the SL site. :confused:
