since the havoc rollout i had at least three occurences of ghost prims... and never before it... did anybody else notice that? it's a bit annoying to have to restart a sim at least once a day...

Ghost prims have been extremely common lately, though it seems they peaked last weekend. There is another bug that has been raging since before Havok 4 regarding a very high listing of Selected/Sat upon prims in About Land > Objects, but without ghost prims resulting from it. JIRA has been kinda crazy on both topics with lots of apparent duplications.

I've seen a rash of "bad prims"--like part-phantom--since the Havoc 4 roll-out. And a really strange one where it wasn't phantom, but wouldn't generate collision events when I walked into it. The usual tricks in the editor reversed the problems, but just more at one time than seems coincidental.
(But I also have one physical script that quit working and wouldn't fix with a reset, recompile, nor anything I tried in that prim, but worked just fine in a shift-drag copy of the containing prim. So I thought that was solved, but then it happened again after a couple of days, with the same cure. No idea if it will happen again.)
