Seriously. Transaction history is lagging again. Forums are slow. Friends online: borked. What the crap, LL? Database issues are now spilling over into the 2D web you pushed us to using (re: transaction history, anyway). Active population has been stagnant, so that shouldn't be an excuse - dysfunction junction, what's your dysfunction?!

I think it's all the processes that are running in the background of the SL servers... I mean, how often do they run the anti-spyware stuff?
![]() The transaction history was fine until about two hours ago and then, it's now just hit or miss on when it update. Yesterday I had problems with the website itself giving me 503 errors from time to time. (I figure that was related more to my connection.. there was a storm in the state and that causes MY connection to go down the drain!) _____________________

Group Payments are delayed too.

~Now Trout Re-Re-Re-Certified!~
I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

The TAO rides again. Like windlight is just like so totally more sexy than forums and transaction history .... I really wish people would quite blaming everything on the the tao of Linden. Have you read the thing? It says a lot more then just "do whatever you feel like." Things like " Make Weekly Progress," "Be Transparent and Open," and "Work together" are just as important as picking your own project. Have you also been reading where they say that over 60% of the people working on the code are fixing bugs? Have you not noticed that there has not been a new windlight viewer since they first bought out the company that made it? I have also noticed that HAVOK 4 is now on the beta grid. There were so many ways to crash a sim with HAVOK 1 that can't be done in HAVOK 4. It is a huge improvement all around. Did you know that they are working on things like MONO, that should speed up scripts by over 100x? Have you read the release notes? Notice that most of them lately are bug fixes? Notice that the last thing that was introduced to the grid was sculpties? And before that was flexies? If you would stop for 2 seconds and really think about what the tao says, you will realize that it makes a lot of sense. It does not say to do what you want, it says that work on what best fits with what you can complete. It tells employees to ask for help. It tells them to help someone that is in need of your expertises to make a better product. It tells them that this is not a game where you are trying to beat the guy in the cube next to you, but a process that you will either win as a team, or lose as a team. And for those that want to read it for yourselves and come up with your own thoughts, http://blog.secondlife.com/2006/07/25/the-tao-of-linden/ _____________________
