Hii, I'm new too SL, and i think it's great how your own creations, and clothes can be put into SL. Making some jeans, I now have the idea of selling them, and taking this whole thing further (the result was really good) So, I was wondering, how do I go about this? I have no Lindens, and don't really like spending money on online games, not at least until I really enjoy them. Where can I sell my jeans, is there any sort of public selling land? Do I need my own land? I know I only have one, but I need to sell at least one pair before I can begin uploading more textures and signs. Ill show you what I've done =] Thanks.

take a picture which you've done and set up for business on Onrez or Xstreet (SLEX) the only problem is that you need a box to do this howvere, to start you off you can have one provided for free for a short time.
in the meantime, make friends with people with land and spare prims and they just might let you put your box on their land for free.
i have 17 products on SLEX only, two or three haven't sold at all, but in 1 year I have made 2000 lindens, which isn't much, but enough to pay my way in SL.

OOh thanks, I joined that Onrez, and it was easy to set up.
Well, I'll see how it goes.

I suggest you logo your 3 "s" name and make it into an inegral part of your clothing designs, otherwise its just another pair of pants and you fade away fast. Admirable youve gotten the skill and foundation to start, make something spectacular and Ill give you some space.

Ooh, make my 3 S's into a logo, that sounds a worthwhile thing to do.
Thanks for the advise.
I guess, it would get my work more noticed.

If those are drawn jeans, they look pretty good from that photo, good luck!

Its amazing to think the jeans I actually own are in a game haha.

NCI (New Citizen's Inc) has a small mall area where new residents can sell their creations, for free. It's at the Kuula location, in a building across the way from the rez-in point. The rules and application are in a kiosk on the walkway there. I believe the Shelter also does this. Personally, I would get a few more items before attempting to set up a vendor. But, those jeans look really good! Wear them constantly inworld, and until you have a store, give a pair with mod/copy perms to everyone who asks where you got them. Also copy down their name on a notecard ... they are the start of your Group, and when you get a vendor you can tell them where they can buy more! Good luck!
