Asset server issues followed by bootings / no logins are actually the result of the NSA acting to foil ongoing terrorist operations coordinated via Second Life!! The terrorists just go "Infidel Lag!!" and abort the mission without knowing that they were under surveillance all the time. Clever!! _____________________

WHy do I s'pect that SL "terrorists" are to RL terrorism about what child avatars are to pedophiles? What I mean is, are so many of the concerns about "terrorists in SL" fueled by people who don't know SL looking at stuff about PN or the "liberation front" that "blew up" American Apparel, much like those outside looking in see "kids" and start going "think of the children?" (It's early an I'm sleepy, so sorry if this ain't makin a lotta sense) Mari _____________________

I wonder just what would a terrorist find to do in SL? Are we really wasting tax dollars to monitor MMO's in the name of Homeland Security? Don't we have enough real-world problems to deal with? |

Ahhh..let's see what could they do? How bout hack into the LL databases and figure out how to take money to finance their activities?? How bout use SL as a way to easily communicate with each other and avoid phone taps and find easy anonymity. etc.? How bout using SL networks to create widely distributed, denial of service attacks? With SL you could barely ask for a less security conscious situation, full of recruitable, Free Software kooks, ready to sell out any establishment.
