Static WHile Runner The Viewer

Is anyone having difficulty with static and popping noises while attempting to play music in game. Everytime i try to listen to music in game it makes a static noise and sounds like it's down in a hole but it doesnt do it to anything else that i listen to online only sl. Does anyone know that the problem is or could be....

I know this may sound simplistic as a solution but since you are only having any audio problems while in SL, you could try clearing cache in both preferences and manually.

Have you ever been able to hear streaming music well while inworld?

Just a thought, but could it be that you are hearing inworld background noises? Have you tried lowering the volume on every setting except Master and Music in your audio preferences?

I'm presuming that you have tried toggling your music on and off several times? Sometimes a music stream can be slow to "catch" as it were.
At those times, sometimes the music seems to come out of the bottom of a pit, or you might hear chipmunks noises.

yes i have tried those things, and yes i have been able to use the music in sl.

Holly, you're not the only one who's had this problem in the past. Using 'search', I've found that most threads end with no possible solution except this one.
