So, for over a year now I have never had a problem paying my island fee until last month. I decided to change my payment information to a new debit card because I had the one I was using canceled because I moved. Each time I try to add the card, it says: Status: Not authorised So, I called LL and spoke to someone who told me to call my bank and tell them to authorize the payment. We tried that, but the bank said that no payments from LL had tried to go through. At that point I decided to just go ahead and use a paypal account. That worked, but some how my paypal became unverified this month (I have no idea how), so my new island bill did not get paid. I tried again to add the new debit card directly to my SL account info and once again, it did not work. I am getting really tired of this run around each month and don't want my account to get suspended while I'm in the process of trying to get LL to look into why I can't add my debit card to the website. Has anyone else had a similar problem? This sucks!

It sometimes happens that LL billing report to me that my CC failed and my US$ account goes negative. The next day, it goes through no problem - but without me doing anything about it or any change in status of the CC. Borkiness!
A bit like dodgy sim-crossing. Do nothing to try and force a correction, just wait a bit and it clicks back into place.

Is it possible that your billing address is still your old address? If your billing address is your old address and your card has your new billing address on it that can sometimes cause problems with online transactions.

Yeah, the address on my account is no longer valid, but I couldn't get the website to let me change that either. I reopened my support ticket from last month and Brandon Linden responded saying to retry because they changed some things on my account so I'm hoping it will work now..

Yeah, my issue is fixed now. I don't know what they changed but they went in and did something to my account and now I can add CC payment method again. So I guess filing support tickets isn't such a bad idea lol.
