Just wondering if anyone knows where there are open areas to fly aircraft and maybe have a few dogfights.

Wilder West and Abbott's Aerodrome. Wilder's group has all sorts of dogfights and combat competetions.

The Royal Caledonian Air Force hosts weekly dogfights, mostly in historical and steampunk aircraft. Contact Sin Trenton or Zoe Connolly if you have interest in that.
