I wanted to buy a dragon as a present for a friend, and went on over to Grendel's Children.
They don't have any "gift" vendors, so you have to contact a person to set this up. I IM'd Flea Bussy with the item I wanted and the recipient's name. Sent the IM, and then started preparing a notecard version just in case her IM's were capped.
Before I got the note finished, I got an IM from the dragon's maker, RaptonX. "Sent!", he cried.
I hadn't even sent payment for the darn thing yet!
I was one happy customer, and sent both Flea and RaptonX a healthy tip.

Grendel's Children does just about everything perfectly. Their products are very high quality. Their customer service is absolutely excellent, and the prices are almost painfully low. Anyone who wants an avatar can find a way to afford one. It's like they have lowered the bar to allow entry to everyone in SL.
