If it's that Facebook thing... noooooo. I get fed up with seeing the home page full of people's updates. "Belinda Blowjib has found a pretty duck on her farm." "Bertie Bollox has rescued a three-legged llama from a particularly vicious tasmanian devil on his farm."

In fact, I joined the group 'I couldn't give a flying f**k what you're doing in Farmville'. :-)

I played it for a while. It has a lot of good ideas for how to manage a social game, but eventually it peters out because the content runs dry. Once you can plant peas, there's literally no reason to ever try to plant anything else. So I just wrote "YOU WIN" in sheep on my farm, and left. :)

I don't...

...but I am amazed at how many of my friends and family do. Even several second lifers (in exile, or perhaps insane).

I got asked to join Farmville so I could be a neighbour for RL friends because apparently it's good to have as many neighbours as possible. That's as far as my interest in it goes - my little farm is a dustbowl!

It's because to get larger plots, you need more neighbors. I did it for a while, though I never filled out any offers or paid a thing to them. I wasn't that interested.

I do play other ones, like Yoville and Cafe World, but that's mostly because I get bored really easily.

LOL Exactly! What's the point in going on. I reached level 37 a few days ago and said good-bye to all my neighbors and dropped them. There is nothing else to do! I wish I could give my millions away but oh well.......I have no desire to play it now.

Farmville seems a bit dull but if you happen to be playing Castle Age, please feel free to friend me (my avatar has a Facebook account so that I don't have all those sheep updates on my 'real' one).

I have a very pesky dragon that just won't die. Join the battle!
