Just recently, I've developed an odd problem with my Eyelashes.
I do not wear Prim Eyelash attachments, I just use the ones that come with the skins I wear.
However, recently they are starting to look like ugly Fleshy prims, with black lines drawn on them. If I go into edit my Appearance, they look normal, but revert back to ugly fleshy look, when I leave Appearance. Also, when I attempt to rebake my textures, they change to look normal, but only for a moment, and then they're ugly again!
Anyone know the cause of this, and how to fix it?

This is mostly just a *bump* because I don't know what's going on here. Would suggest looking at http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6784 to see if that's the problem here, or if there's something else going wrong. One sample image from that jira (sorry about screwing up the thread width) :

Jolene- if your problem is one where the lashes even set down to zero still streak the skin, my 'work-around' will not help you. Off hand, I wd ask if you tried the rebake solution and if when others look at you they see the same thing. I will watch this thread in hope someone has a better way - meantime though... /merchant mode on You said you don't wear the prim ones, I have heard from some folks that they dont because the ones they find are either too hard to fit, too over the top or too blah. If you have tried prim ones and one of those is your concern, this I can help you with- I do prim lashes- my customers have told me repeatedly that mine are the easiest ones they have ever had to fit. In the extremely few cases where they were unable to fit them, I did it for them. Selection runs the gamut from very subtle to OMG - so I invite you to come to the store and pick yourself out a pair - drop me a NC with your choice and I will be glad to send them to you - no charge. Every girl needs come-hither eyes . You will find my my store easily in search and is in my siggy. /off And sincerely good luck with that situation-

I think I found a solution!
It has to do with the Dynamic Textures setting, I posted about it on that JIRA listing!
I turn that off, then going into Edit Appearance, and turning Dynamic Textures back on while in Appearance mode, then leaving Appearance... sometimes this fixes it, and sometimes I have to throw a couple Rebakes into the mix.
