Clear the cache and lose stuff, clear again and lose more...

I cleared the cache this morning (no problems, just routine) and everything loaded when I logged in. When I relogged later, I was missing about 200 items, so I cleared the cache, relogged, and lost about 200 more. I repeated a few times with no change, then lost more, then recovered about 10 items, then lost even more.

I admit that I'm guilty of risky behavior by logging in during peak hours. There was nothing on the blog or here in Resident Answers about people having trouble, so I thought I'd take a chance.

Would you
a) stop clearing the cache?
b) keep clearing and relogging like a madman?
c) forget it for now and try again tomorrow, or whenever?
d) never, ever log in again during peak hours until LL gets control of the peak times?

Option (C) - I'd log out and log in the next day, see if the stuff came back.

Earlier when I logged in, a lot of my folders appeared empty... one of which contains the hair I was wearing on my head.

I figure if I'm wearing the hair, it can't really be gone... so I'm gonna log back in tomorrow and see if the stuff is back.
