No Sound

Since I installed EMERALD I have no sound...Does anyone know why, and if so, what can I do about it? I have checked everything. I can hear all the ambient sounds, shoes tappiong, ppl howling, but no music...Please help

Have you looked on the Emerald forum? More likely to find an answer there, although this forum is well-rounded.

First, go through Edit > Preferences and readjust any settings you have. You may not have streaming media enabled yet.

Sound Is Back!!

I found some help..I ended up having to:

1. update quicktime
2. update sound drivers
3. uninstall Emerald
4.reboot
5.reinstall Emerald


I'm not sure which of these was the magic fix, but now I have music again, and I am sooo happy :)
