You might have a connection problem.

System info would make a more detailed answer possible.

Brand and model of computer, if there is one,
type of processor,
amount of ram,
video card or gpu model info,
version of video driver,
amount of video ram,
operating system,
operating system service pack level,
32 or 64 bit operating system,
type of internet service,
wired or wireless home network,
exact version of Second Life

stuff like that

and any information that you know that we wouldn't know to ask, like if you are in a dorm, or have a cat that chews on your cables every minute of the day, or that you house your wireless router in a Faraday cage in order to keep it safe from your giant constantly running Tesla coil

also you could be a little more specific than "having issues" .

do you get an error message? if so, exactly what does the complete error message say? do you have your problem under specific conditions, and if so what are they?

well, I log into Miki Fhang, and it logs me out instantly after I do so. It crashes....big time. But when I log into my alt account, it's REALLY laggy, but I can play, so I don't understand what's going on, and no, I don't get any notices.

and now that you revealed that the problem is actually crashing rather than being logged out...

Do the crashes occur at any particular places or when doing some particular actions?

You might try checking for dust in your box and seeing if the fans are spinning properly.

Different accounts behaving differently on the same machine: could be cache needs to be cleared for the crashing account (from Edit / Preferences / Network), and relog. Could be other settings; can wipe them all by removing the character-specific directory (location depends on whether this is XP, Mac, Linux, or Vista)... but could just be different graphics settings (Edit / Preferences / Graphics). All those settings can be adjusted without logging in, just from the splash screen.

Did things work normally until recently, or has this problem existed all along on this machine?

just started happening a couple of days ago, but I logged in just fine last night....and I seem to be having the same issues again. For a while last night, a friend was having the same issues, so I'm thinking it might have to do with the rolling restart. I was able to log in after the first half...
