The house needs to be MOD permissions so you can modify what is already there.
A basic rundown would be...say if you wanted to re texture a wall... Right click the wall and choose Edit. The wall will then be selected. I am assuming you may only want to texture one face of the wall...if you dont and want the whole wall textured then ignore this next step ![]() So you have the wall selected in edit..now check the "select texture" circle at the top of the edit box..now with your mouse touch the face of the wall you want to texture.. You will see a target looking shape. Now in the edit box..go to the texture tab..click the square box that has the texture on that is on your wall already..this will open another box which shows all the textures you have in your inventory...this is where you can choose what texture you want to put on your wall... Just select from that box ![]() If you dont have any textures yet, you may want to go to some texture stores and find some you like so when you do this step you will have it there to choose from ![]() I know this sounds rambled as well as basic its just thats its hard trying to remember all the steps when one usually goes on auto pilot with it! I do hope this helped some though ![]() |

Hi Eklipze.
It is easier for you to see how it is done then to have it explained in text. ![]() Therefore, I offer you this link where Wilder Linden shows how to apply textures to objects. I hope it helps. Sorry it took awhile for the answer.. I was searching for the best and easiest to follow tutorial I could find. Good luck! http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-apply-textures-on-individual-object-surface/ Whoops Tiana beat me. Maybe you will still find some tips in the link. hehe_____________________

First, you must have mod rights to the house.
Right click a wall, select Edit. Click "More" to get the full edit menu if you don't see it. Click the Select Textures button. Click the wall surface you want to texture. Click the Texture tab in the edit menu. You should see two picture boxes, one for texture, one for color. (If they are X'd out, you don't have permission to modify the texture. In that case, you'll have to create a false wall, or hang a picture or something.) Click the texture box. You'll get a little inventory search window. Find the texture you want to use and drag it onto the texture window. Or use your main inventory window and drag a texture from there. If you want to color the wall, with or without a texture applied, use the color box. Once a texture is available on a prim nearby, the rest can go faster. Select several surfaces to be textured, using SHIFT+Click. Click the Texture box. Click the eyedropper icon Click on the surface of the prim that has the texture you want to use on the other selected surfaces with the eyedropper tool. You may need to adjust the size of the texture on individual surfaces. Use the horizontal and vertical size spinners, the rotation box, and the offset boxes to get the texture to "fit" the way you want it to. _____________________
