The BLOB

This does sort of remind me of that.

I rent a townhome in Palomarian. Yesterday, the textures went wierd and all of the land turned grey. Someone told me that sometimes happens on Mainland and other people were seeing it in other places also, so I din't sweat it. However, at the same time, a large grey blob appeared at one corner of my unit -- due to the 'grey everywhere' issue, the landlord said it was probably the texture issue - so I just ignored it for the rest of the evening. Well, I just logged in today and all land is back to normal, but the blob is still there - although it is green like all of the other land. It is sort of like the land under my unit started 'bubbling' up. Is such a thing possible? When I right-click on it, I do get an 'about land' option in the pie chart.

I cleared my cache twice last night (after the grey started) and again today before logging in. There isn't anyone else around, so I don't know if this is something that only I see (landlord isn't online to come look at it).

Thanks

Someone was kind enough to stop by. Somehow the land got edited and there really is a bubble for the owner to fix.

The land owner has set permissions to allow others to edit terrain, i.e. raise or lower it.

This isn't good.

If it's the corner of your unit, perhaps your neighbor edited his/her land, and you got the overflow. Dramatic terrain shifts can affect adjoining parcels.
