Why would you want a bunch of people around your house??

Depends if they're great neighbours!

My friends and I are across two connected sims, 7 of us. Plenty of space for all the activities and lots of fun too. Best of both...well it was until Lindens decided to screw everyone with an OS.

When I was a new player that is exactly what I wanted and I made some good friends in SL that way. I probably wouldn't have stayed inworld if I hadn't rented that little 512 and made my first SL friends.

(lol. Sorry this was OT. :p )

Probably more on topic than I was. Myself, I prefer not seeing other names on my Mysti.

I learned to appreciate that way of living after I was here awhile. :D

Theres so many rentals in SL, when I first arrived I used the search fucntion, typed in rentals and TP'd all over the grid until I landed somewhere I liked the look and feel of. I did that a few times as my needs changed.

Give it a go, take your time.

Theres gazillions of places.

My personal favourite is the Azure Islands, simply because they actually lay out there sims with connected roads and foliage in touch which the themes, giving a much more worldly feel.

There is a guy named IBME Swindlehurst that rents cottages to noobs (avatar must be younger then 3 months) for $1 a month for first three months, then you have to move. His regular rates are great too, so great I don;t want to tell people on this forum how much lol

where it is peace and privacy, lots of greeneries and waters around beautiful islets, hidden romantic caves, and varied design of houses etc etc....you will not go wrong with Rainforest Estates.

Use the Property Rental section of classifieds, use search, or go to one of the inworld directories (The Rental Directory, Rental Central, Rental Warehouse, etc.) to shop around.
