The odds are, the answer is 'no'.. But though to ask anyway just in case it's a 'yes'.
Do Lost and Found items ever get automatically deleted? Meaning, do they get deleted other than us deleting them?

I don’t think they do get deleted until you do it, or an asset server gets wonky.
I have things in my Lost and Found that have to be well over a year old, simply because I’ve gotten lazy with my Inventory and there seems just as good a place as any to keep things.

There is a rather akwardly placed "Empty Lost & Found" as first option on the context menu though (where "New Folder" would be for any other folder) so it's possible to hit that by mistake (pops up a warning message though, although that can be turned off).
